What is the common thread among the five schools that are listed: U of Illinois- Urbana- Champaign as seen above,

They students are able to have a great social experience, yes, that's correct, great parties, as well as achieving high earning potential. The mentioned five colleges graduate students whose earnings are above the typical starting pay, $42,000, and mid-career pay ($74,300) for four-year college graduates.
Each year THE PRINCETON REVIEW lists the 20 top Party Colleges for the year. PayScale then picked the winning schools and researched the starting salaries for those graduates and also their mid-career salaries.
It is apparent that having the ability to socialize and study is a skill employed by successful people.
So maybe this will dampen the discussion about the useless party school list. Just "Show me the money."
