FACEBOOK - THINK BEFORE YOU SHARE!

Hello Friends,
Be careful what you share on Facebook. College admissions officers are checking facebook pages once they are reading your admissions file. What, you didn't think they would do that? I am amazed that families, especially mothers, believe that this whole admissions process is not a business proposition. College is big business. BUSINESS! Colleges that are very selective are wise institutions. They do check Facebook regardless of what you are told, hear or believe.

So in a nutshell, students, be selective about what you share on Facebook. If you are comfortable with your grandmother seeing the information, than you are probably comfortable with admissions seeing the information.

Privacy isn't a bad thing. There really is no need to share everything. Be selective and you may be rewarded by being selected.
Best,
Brenda

We had a difficult visit at NYU. Although a tour was passing through the library, we were not allowed to enter. We must have looked investigative.

We loved the campus despite Marcel not being allowed in the union.

We loved this campus and the little village. The student union was superb and the students appeared less stressed. The student working in the bookstore was especially eager to share her positive experiences at the college.
